Passionate About Inspiring Leaders

Apostolic/Prophetic Leaders Herb and Kennisha Moffett are the founders of Marketplace Intercession. In 2005, they were called by God according to Leviticus 25, to declare the season of jubilee in which God restores the families of his kingdom. By divine providence, before they were a spiritual leadership team, they were business partners. In 1997, before their college graduation from Baylor University, they founded HKMMIS (Herb and Kennisha Moffett Management and Information Systems). With HKMMIS, they served as consultants and trainers for budding small businesses. They specialized in website development, financial and business software training, team building, and soft skills workshops. Since this original business venture, for over twenty years, they've both continued to develop and master their skills as business consultants, soft skill trainers, spiritual leaders, and providing strategic insight.

The Moffett's served as international missionaries, spreading the gospel in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and France. They discipled families, inspired leaders, established house churches, led spiritual warfare teams, and enjoyed glorious hours in prayer to benefit the Lord’s plans for Europe. These experiences enhanced their understanding and communication skills with people from all walks of life and cultures.

In 2015, they officially founded Restoring God's Family Ministry (RGF). A year later, the RGF Network was launched. This live broadcasting platform makes it possible for the RGF team to impact an ever increasing number of families and leaders with the Gospel several times daily through twelve different broadcasts. With missionary hearts, their goal is to become the largest live broadcasting church for believers. In 2019, Marketplace Intercession, was founded to focus solely on inspiring and interceding for marketplace leaders in the Greater Austin area. Through working with companies like Austin Bridge Builders Alliance and Marketplace Chaplains, the Moffett's felt the call to support leaders in prayer.

The Moffett's live in Austin, Tx. They are the proud parents of two young adult kids. Their oldest graduated from their alma mater, Baylor University, in 2019. Their youngest is a senior at Baylor this year

What is an Intercessor?

  1. An intercessor reminds the Lord of His promises until they are fulfilled. (Isaiah 62:6-7)

  2. An Intercessor is one who fights (or pleads) for Justice, to prevail on behalf of another.  (Isaiah 59:15 & 16)

  3. An intercessor is one who builds the wall (or hedge) of protection. In such situations we are standing in-between the people of God and their problems or issues, to protect them from danger and help build a spiritual wall that will strengthen them to stand in health and wholeness.  (Ezekiel 13:4 & 5)

  4. An intercessor initiates warfare – the key to God's battle plan for our lives. But the battleground is not of this earth. The Bible says, "We are not fighting against humans. We are fighting against forces and authorities and against rulers of darkness and spiritual powers in the heavens above" (Eph. 6:12).

  5. Seasoned and mature intercessors should always desire to grow in the experiential working knowledge of God. We must grow in our understanding of His Character – to correctly represent Him in our daily walk; and we must grow in our understanding of who we are and what our authority is in Christ Jesus when we stand before our God in intercession.

  6. Prayer is our natural response to problems but intercession is deliberate. In contrast, intercession is what God wants done. It's strategic prayer that ushers in God's divine will because true intercession reveals the divine will of God.
